Annoyingly angry...

So today I went to work as usual...whilst minding my own business, the manager comes up to me and asks if I'm up for a task. A task that requires me to drive approximately 103 miles from work to another one of our branches in Kilmarnock. Without hesitation, I agreed...I took over a Seat Ibiza Toca, metallic blue...it was a good car to drive. It doesn't do sporty but still not bad on the motorway...think i must of averaged about 50 miles to the gallon.

Upon arrival, I was given a Citroen Dispatch Van to return to my original branch where one of my colleagues was expecting to sell it. So, in it I went, drove it a fuelling station, to then proceed to the closest Burger King! :)

(even i need to eat, and it took a little over one and a half hours to go one way!)

Shortly upon returning to my work with the van in perfect working order...the customer bought it! Kinda makes me feel good to know my efforts wasn't wasted and the buyer liked it that much!

Once home, i was pretty hungry again...i remembered i had packed lunch into my work case but forgotten about it so i was heating it up. While my "lunch" was doing its thing in the microwave I thought I'll inform my folks of how my working day was...

What a mistake...

All they were saying was, why couldn't I have lunch at work? What kind of work doesn't allow employees to have lunch? Don't you think you're been taken advantage off? Why don't you quit since you're being taken advantage of? Remember your brother when he was at his previous company and he only had 30mins for lunch, that was bad enough!

I couldn't get in a word...it was so annoying that I literally passed the point of TRYING to explain after they mentioned my brother...yet again I am being compared to him. He who is the one the whole family thinks can do no wrong. Him him him him him...

Let me at least explain it to you, you who do not know me, you who probably don't care much...I agreed to the task my manager proposed to me. Why? None of my other colleagues were willing, so I want to do something that'll make me stand out a bit.

I knew there won't be a set lunch time whilst on the road. I already made a bit of time for that when returning!

Been taken advantage of? Come on, if they weren't paying me then that would be a true statement. In the contract, it states that employees must be flexible! I was taken on as a Salesman, then sales went through the roof and I was asked to valet cars because there was a staff shortage on valetors, i also enjoy driving around! While out the office, i still get paid!

I will say my pay isn't high but I am will to do the tasks which many refuse to do! In theory that should earn me some points for consideration when it comes to pay raise.

Who starts a job and then get paid a ton of cash? Personally, I know nobody like that...but there probably is someone out there that did that.
Sorry, deviated there, point being, I haven't been there for long, to the manager and the CEO why should I be given more? I would love them to give me extra money for trips like this but it doesn't work like that. I need to do more, to prove to them that I am WORTH what they're giving me and hopefully more in future.

Its hypocritical that my folks always said, you must start at the bottom and work your way up...your wages will start low and go up as you progress...

That's EXACTLY what I'm doing now! But it's still wrong. Thanks folks, thanks for letting me know AGAIN that i cannot compare to No. 2 and that I shame the family because I'm a car washer in your eyes. Thanks for all the shit emotional trauma you put me through and wonder why i don't talk to you both!

Tuesday 18th December

I have been drinking for almost the whole week...about 4-5units a time and have noticed that its not good for me...I can't think straight, I can't focus, I am losing motivation and its getting very depressing. OK, my ex girlfriend has got a new boyfriend shortly after the break up...it hurts. Deal with it better! OK, there's this girl I like but doesn't feel the same...it hurts. Deal with it better! My best friend, Adam, you are an irreplaceable in every sense of the word. Thank you for being there when I needed somebody the most and for giving me good enough reasons to hang on to what is left of my sanity. Now that I've sobered up a little can I realise that I am the one stopping myself from progress of any kind. With the Xmas period round the corner, a few drinks will be fine, then afterwards I'll go 2 months without it and see what happens. During this time, I'll catch up on the reading that I have to do and get my "to do list" knuckled d...

Its all coming back! :D

Oh Hell yeah!!!!!!!! Remember a month ago I screwed things over a bit with Michelle? After many messages and persuasion, I managed to be "dating her"...I'm not entirely sure what  actually happened... Last Wednesday we had a lunch date...then I asked if she wanted to come with me to look for a new car...I choose to go back to my old place of work (Citroen and Seat dealers), saw a good number of old colleagues and my old manager! We greeted and had a catch up...then they offered me AN ASS KICKING EPIC DEAL... So i bought a car...Seat Ibiza, 1.4litre engine...140 break horse power with a decent 60mpg......in black... Life is pretty sweet just now, (almost) girlfriend and new car...needing a flat to call home :)

Ballocking from the manager...

It was Sunday 1st September... Work usually starts at 12pm on Sunday but because it was the first day of the new reg plates for cars, everyone came into work early. As my colleagues were very busy with delivering cars to their clients on a tight schedule...I was left to do odds and ends such as greeting customers and taking them out for test drives. A couple came into the showroom and wanted to test drive a Seat Ibiza....my mentor told me to grab the company's trade plates and the keys for the requested car. So off I went to grab both items...I've been here for just over a month and know pretty much where things are or where they should be...however...I not able to find the trade plates... What happened earlier was another colleague of mine had done a test drive with a customer and left the trade plates in that car...long story short, he didn't put the keys back onto the board where they're usually kept, I couldn't find them, my manager gave me a ballocking for n...
