Remember the restaurant that I used to run? The current owners have asked me back to help out for about 6 weeks due to 2 chefs are leaving to go back to China for a month holiday...Today was my 3rd day back...I can't believe how deep a shit hole they have got into! Their Head Chef (Self proclaimed 10+ years of experience at some fancy restaurant) is a complete mockery of the word "Chef", I have only been a Chef for two years but I was loaded with at least 50 years worth of experiences through 3 different chefs...and even I know this guy is utter useless. There was a few things that confused me to the point of hysterical laughter...I swear on my life these are questions/comments HE asked/said me!

  1. Why is business bad?
     
  2. Why is it that since you came back business is so dead?
     
  3. Why are you making sauce like that?
     
  4. Why are you so eager to get things done?
     
  5. If you make sauces/flavour food that way it'll taste bad!
     
  6. Why don't you make those sauces with the same base then flavour them differently when cooking?


1) On the day itself, weather conditions were horrible so "maybe" people don't want to come out!

2) WAY before you got yourself here, I ran the Kitchen with an Iron Fist, everything I made was to the customers taste. YOU make things to YOUR taste and not the customers...they don't like it and its YOUR FAULT NOT ME BEING BACK!!! Plus it was YOUR BOSS who specifically WANTED ME BACK TO TAKE BACK MY PLACE AS HEAD to replace you!

3) I make sauce the way it's SUPPOSED to be made! With TLC and time! You who have "X number of years of experience" is asking such a beginner's question...ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!

4) Eager to get things done? Maybe because I get PAID to do work???

5) I said before, THIS IS HOW I MADE IT BEFORE YOU WERE HERE AND CUSTOMERS CAME BACK!!! THAT is way I flavour the things that way!

6) Those are two COMPLETELY different flavours of sauces! HOW THE HELL can you make it taste different when the base sauce is the same for the two different sauces!!!????


This "Chef" is a retard, lack of work ethics, lack of real experience (if any), lack of knowledge and COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that customers like to eat things THEY like, not what YOU LIKE! Its very sad to see the reputation I created over the past 2 years has been kicked to it's knees in just 3 months...

Its all coming back! :D

Oh Hell yeah!!!!!!!! Remember a month ago I screwed things over a bit with Michelle? After many messages and persuasion, I managed to be "dating her"...I'm not entirely sure what  actually happened... Last Wednesday we had a lunch date...then I asked if she wanted to come with me to look for a new car...I choose to go back to my old place of work (Citroen and Seat dealers), saw a good number of old colleagues and my old manager! We greeted and had a catch up...then they offered me AN ASS KICKING EPIC DEAL... So i bought a car...Seat Ibiza, 1.4litre engine...140 break horse power with a decent 60mpg......in black... Life is pretty sweet just now, (almost) girlfriend and new car...needing a flat to call home :)

I was suppose to put this up eons ago! These are the photos of the flat that is mine! Haha. Of course it looks a little basic but it's for renting out and not myself! Here they are!

Upon pondering

Am I happy with what I have? That depends on how you view the situation. I have a flat, I have a car that is paid off, I have a job that pays fairly, I quite enjoy my job except for the hours, I have an awesome girlfriend, I have a few flatmates and I live in the city! The flat is a humble 3 bedroom flat located in the suburbs of Edinburgh. It isn't the most flashiest of homes, I've been getting tradesmen to do work on it for me...windows...new storage space...gas cooker...door adjustments...painting of new door frame...new front door...a drive way and generally tidying up after myself. Being in the flat for 2 months with most of the necessary work almost complete...I can say it is becoming a place I enjoy coming back to after a day at work or somewhere to zone out and chill! Car...I love my SEAT Ibiza FR Black Edition. Sadly I am having trouble with everyone else, I live on a street where parking can be an issue and cars passing by can be very close...back in September some...
