Irritation...

Ever get one of those days where you wake up refreshed and ready to get on with the day? I felt like that this morning but then I got a call...
"Hey Hakuren, the plumber is here can you pop by?"
“Yup, on my way!” I replied

You see, majority of the Chinese operates under a hierarchy system, when the ones at the top are unavailable, the guys at the bottom looks at me. I am all for helping people but it’s the people themselves who ask for my help that most piss me off!
Allow me to explain; I have been in the restaurant business for about 5 years on end, met many tradesmen, good and bad, fluent Cantonese and English speaker, able to run a simple bar without problem, I am free most days since my position was taken over by some less efficient person and…the one person who EVERYBODY takes a stab at with their smart ass comments.

Mind you, not everyone is rude to me…. Perhaps it is my tendency to manners, when I ask anyone for something or help, I will say “Please & Thank you” at the end and in turn I will owe that someone help for when it is needed. But of the ones who are a rude to me, when they ask me for help, it isn’t asking. They are TELLING me to help them like it is their given right that I, should pull out MY OWN TIME & SOMETIMES MY OWN MONEY to help them. I don’t get anything afterwards, mostly I only want a “thank you” but that is a rare thing to come by, at least from these people…

Be my relatives through blood or people I know, when asking someone for help, you don’t shout down the phone telling me to help. I am more likely to help when you are polite, just like HOW YOU TAUGHT ME TO BE. I really don’t mind helping, in fact I believe it brings me some Karma points, this time, I rant to myself…next time…I “won’t” be in town to help you out…or I will prolong the services you need to get your businesses back into operation.

You have taken my time from sourcing out stock for my new business, put me in a foul mood that none of you care to know the reason for and my irritated state of mind won't ease for a few hours yet...This boy has grown tired and will retaliate, even if it is for something as small as a thank you. I only ever asked for the little things in life. YOU ARE WARNED.

Last night I have done what is the 2nd most craziest thing in my life...I have cut contact with the Karly for my sanity... It began at about 4pm during the day, Karly text me saying she's going to return some of my things...books and hoody etc...(at this moment in time, I had flash backs of the times we flirted, went out for walks and talks at her place...all the good stuff). I asked her what spurred this on so she replied she was "cleaning out her room and there's no point to clutching on to things." (my thought was - does this mean she thought of me as someone at some point? Or were you being nice by keeping them?) "Then why did you hold on to those things till now?" I replied. "What difference does it make whether I give them back now or two weeks later?" She replied.. I took it badly, if Karly knew this long ago then why did you drag this out till now? An argument through text happened. Couple of hours later we text each other again...

Its all coming back! :D

Oh Hell yeah!!!!!!!! Remember a month ago I screwed things over a bit with Michelle? After many messages and persuasion, I managed to be "dating her"...I'm not entirely sure what  actually happened... Last Wednesday we had a lunch date...then I asked if she wanted to come with me to look for a new car...I choose to go back to my old place of work (Citroen and Seat dealers), saw a good number of old colleagues and my old manager! We greeted and had a catch up...then they offered me AN ASS KICKING EPIC DEAL... So i bought a car...Seat Ibiza, 1.4litre engine...140 break horse power with a decent 60mpg......in black... Life is pretty sweet just now, (almost) girlfriend and new car...needing a flat to call home :)

Ballocking from the manager...

It was Sunday 1st September... Work usually starts at 12pm on Sunday but because it was the first day of the new reg plates for cars, everyone came into work early. As my colleagues were very busy with delivering cars to their clients on a tight schedule...I was left to do odds and ends such as greeting customers and taking them out for test drives. A couple came into the showroom and wanted to test drive a Seat Ibiza....my mentor told me to grab the company's trade plates and the keys for the requested car. So off I went to grab both items...I've been here for just over a month and know pretty much where things are or where they should be...however...I not able to find the trade plates... What happened earlier was another colleague of mine had done a test drive with a customer and left the trade plates in that car...long story short, he didn't put the keys back onto the board where they're usually kept, I couldn't find them, my manager gave me a ballocking for n...
