Tough decision

Oh man...oh man. Looks like I just can't catch a break.

Ok, as we know my highly respected teacher in Ju Jutsu of 13 years past away a few months ago in June. As his last gift to me, his will told Sensei McGregor that once things have been settled, I was to be summoned back to the School to receive a grading. Now, I only just had my 3rd Degree Grading not so long ago so I was a little confused to why another grading so soon. Out of respect for my former teacher and the confidence he had in me, my other teachers and fellow Ju Jutsuka, I took the grading.
Mind you, I've not been training for 2 years and not in my greatest form...half way through the grading...BAM!!! An on point punch to the ribs by my grading partner Stuart and I was winded...out for 10mins...when I caught my breathe, my new partner Connor...raised his leg for a right, round house kick...as I tried to shuffle out the way...I inhaled...sharp pain coursed through my rib cage on the right side...saw the kick coming in fast and furious...BANG!!!!

SAME spot...

Ribs are thoroughly cracked.

At least by that time it was the end of the first part of my grading.

My second part was sword work...which I took the following day...Oh boy, woke up the next day with quite the pain...took some pain killers and went to my grading an hour early to see Sensei McGregor...thank goodness for his extra strength pain killers! I went through the Sword work grading without a problem!

Still I had cracked ribs...not great!

So...back to the main focus of my post this time...today at work, one of my colleagues (lets call him "B") got into some disagreement with another colleague (call this one "D") and just storms out of work.
In the middle of a busy service...you do this!? Come on man!! No word, just a look of "watch me walk out this door".

I have no idea to what happened, why it happened nor how it happened...only to see "B" walk out the door.

"B" has put me and himself in an awful position. "B" has been a younger brother to me and we got on well together...but recently in the past few weeks...he has become a different person...it is now difficult to work with him let alone talking to him. "B" isn't the "B" I knew...he's the complete opposite...The company policy has always been, if you have problems outside of work. You LEAVE it outside of work. You having issues AT work. We get work done FIRST. THEN we deal with ths issue.

We don't need coworkers to not cooperating with each other, we're a team! Unless he initiates a sincere apology and shapes up...he won't be let back into the premises. Sadly, if I am not mistaken, in his current mood with his current attitude...that ain't happening.

Which results in a dismissal...

"B"...why won't you tell me what is wrong? What got you so grumpy? What the Hell happened...you know it is closer to the festive period and we need more staff...what the flying fruitcake is wrong with you???

We've given you a few chances and hints...you aren't dumb, I sure as Hell know you picked them up...so why???

Cracked ribs and loss of a brother...if a dismissal occurs..."B"...thanks for the good memories and I sincerely wish you return to your good self again.

Tuesday 18th December

I have been drinking for almost the whole week...about 4-5units a time and have noticed that its not good for me...I can't think straight, I can't focus, I am losing motivation and its getting very depressing. OK, my ex girlfriend has got a new boyfriend shortly after the break up...it hurts. Deal with it better! OK, there's this girl I like but doesn't feel the same...it hurts. Deal with it better! My best friend, Adam, you are an irreplaceable in every sense of the word. Thank you for being there when I needed somebody the most and for giving me good enough reasons to hang on to what is left of my sanity. Now that I've sobered up a little can I realise that I am the one stopping myself from progress of any kind. With the Xmas period round the corner, a few drinks will be fine, then afterwards I'll go 2 months without it and see what happens. During this time, I'll catch up on the reading that I have to do and get my "to do list" knuckled d...

Its all coming back! :D

Oh Hell yeah!!!!!!!! Remember a month ago I screwed things over a bit with Michelle? After many messages and persuasion, I managed to be "dating her"...I'm not entirely sure what  actually happened... Last Wednesday we had a lunch date...then I asked if she wanted to come with me to look for a new car...I choose to go back to my old place of work (Citroen and Seat dealers), saw a good number of old colleagues and my old manager! We greeted and had a catch up...then they offered me AN ASS KICKING EPIC DEAL... So i bought a car...Seat Ibiza, 1.4litre engine...140 break horse power with a decent 60mpg......in black... Life is pretty sweet just now, (almost) girlfriend and new car...needing a flat to call home :)

Ballocking from the manager...

It was Sunday 1st September... Work usually starts at 12pm on Sunday but because it was the first day of the new reg plates for cars, everyone came into work early. As my colleagues were very busy with delivering cars to their clients on a tight schedule...I was left to do odds and ends such as greeting customers and taking them out for test drives. A couple came into the showroom and wanted to test drive a Seat Ibiza....my mentor told me to grab the company's trade plates and the keys for the requested car. So off I went to grab both items...I've been here for just over a month and know pretty much where things are or where they should be...however...I not able to find the trade plates... What happened earlier was another colleague of mine had done a test drive with a customer and left the trade plates in that car...long story short, he didn't put the keys back onto the board where they're usually kept, I couldn't find them, my manager gave me a ballocking for n...
